Fire compartments
Spread of fire and fire penetration can be prevented by dividing a building into various fire compartments. It is important in this context, that the division between the compartments is properly executed: correct and specific. The goal is to be able to evacuate the building safely and prevent and/or restrict fire damage. We will make sure that:
- Original fire compartments are restored;
- Walls, floors, facades, and roofs, can comply with (newly) imposed requirements;
- Periodic checks are carried out.
Structural steel protections
The present laws and regulations require that certain elements of the building structure offer (additional) resistance against fire. The ability of the structure to resist fire strongly depends on the fire protection system that was chosen.
